GCC Staff

Jeff Ell is the senior pastor of Grace Covenant Church. Jeff is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute and the State University of New York. He and his wife Deneen founded River of Live Fellowship in Copenhagen, New York. Jeff and Deneen have three daughters and have been married for 27 years. Chris Stup is Director of Young Adults Ministry & Community Outreach. Chris obtained both his bachelors and masters degrees from James Madison University. He and his wife, Nikki, were married in November of 2007. They reside in the city of Roanoke with their two dogs, Chai & Sugar. Chris also teaches music business & audio production classes for Virginia Western Community College and online for Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, CO.
Deneen Ell is GCC’s worship coordinator and one of the worship leaders. Deneen is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute where she and pastor Jeff starting dating. They have been married for 27 years and going strong!
Lisa Rieflin is an Office Assistant at Grace Covenant Church Roanoke. She and her husband Jim have been members of GCC since 1992. After an early career as a computer systems analyst, she has spent the past 18 years as a stay-at-home mom. Lisa enjoys the flexibility of her part-time job handling GCC bookkeeping and administration needs. Mostly, she is thankful for the opportunity to use her skills in serving GCC members and staff.
Andy Wilder is an intern working at Grace Covenant Church Roanoke. Andy is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelors degree in computer engineering and works at JDS Uniphase in Salem. He now lives on church property helping with both multimedia and youth ministries.
Paul Smith is an intern working at Grace Covenant Church Roanoke. Currently attending Virginia Tech full-time, he is pursuing a dual-major in Economics and Spanish. Paul lives on the church property helping with the youth and Hispanic ministries and is also a member of the worship team.
